This is a single-layer woodblock print. This is printed in a limited edition run of 20 prints and will never be printed again.
Antique, vintage, and weathered items and trucks have always been interesting to me, as it symbolizes a pastime long forgotten. The unique textural elements and weathered elements of the rusted and pitted metal have piqued my interest. This piece mixes my interest in extreme detail and precise linework while depicting an image that elicits a memory within the viewer. This print fits into any standard-size square frame. The dots layering of carved dots was time-consuming yet provide a great textural element to balance the linework in the truck.
