Lilles have always been an important flower in my life. I grew up planting and growing Lilies with my father. Lilies were the first flower I ever gave to my wife, and I grow Lilies in our backyard, My son is starting to love Lilies as well. Lilies have always been interesting to me, as it symbolizes family and my love for my family. This image is of the first bouquet of lilies I ever bought my wife, this image holds a special place in my heart. This piece mixes my interest in extreme detail and precise linework while depicting the natural beauty that lilies hold. This print fits into a 16" x 20" frame with a 2-inch mat. Amazing piece of artwork to display within your house, apartment, or business.
My hope is that when people see this image they are able to connect to the imagery in a deeply personal way. Flowers hold a significant role in most people's lives. We receive and give flowers for anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, deaths, and tragedies. Flowers, specifically lilies for myself, are associated with many of these times. The stories, memories, and feelings associated with flowers are what I want the viewer to think about when gazing at this piece.
