Original multicolor woodcut print. Handprinted and hand-carved using the reduction printmaking technique.  This image was created by carving and printing the block 3 separate times, with each layer being printed on top of the previous layer.  The printed area measures 10 inches by 18 inches.  This can be beautifully matted and fit a standard 18"x24" size.   Print is a Limited Edition of 14 that can no longer ever be made or printed again. 

Woodgrain and trees in general are an obsession of mine artistically.  The unique quality of the wood grain texture intrigues me greatly.  Growing up working construction, building items with my father, going on hikes, and a general interest in nature have inspired this particular piece.   This print will be a statement piece for any home, apartment, or business.  A lovely print for yourself, a loved one, or to give as a gift.
